Jiu-Jitsu is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on using joint locks, take downs, throws using leverage and not force to defend yourself.
Jiu-Jitsu differentiates itself from other martial arts in that it uses your opponent's momentum to your advantage. It is an art suitable for all ages and body types.
Our curriculum consists of 12 levels before Black Belt (Shodan). Each level focusing on a concept such as escapes, joint locks, throws, ground work, blocks, strikes, take downs.
Instructor - Nicholas Lee
Nicholas Lee, Yondan (4th degree) is a certified Black Belt Instructor who has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu for the past 18 years. Mr. Lee received his Shodan black belt from Soke Terry Stanton (Shinki Ryu) in Kansas City. He currently trains with Shihan Neil Calhoun in Baden. Mr. Lee has also trained in Kobudo.
